As many of you know my nephew, Levi Michalski, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma about two years ago. After a year of chemo and surgery he is now 14 years old and doing quite well. Nonetheless, Ewing’s Sarcoma is a particularly rare and aggressive cancer. Because of its rarity very little research funding is available for study. I am riding with the Team Sarcoma Peloton this weekend in an effort to raise funds for sarcoma research and education through the University of Minnesota in collaboration with Chainbreaker. Chainbreaker was established with the objective to fund life-saving cancer research. Chainbreaker is a three-day experience that includes a weekend of cycling, entertainment and volunteerism. Please help me reach my fundraising goal so we can continue the fight against Cancer in general and sarcomas in particular. 100% of contributions will go to research at the University and are fully tax deductible.
